Rebuilding the Shrine
It was the intention of the Parish to rebuild the Shrine on the
hillside immediately behind the New Church parking lot. Funding however, was not available
to complete the project, and the sculptures have been in storage for several years.
During this time significant damage occurred to the sculptures, requiring a large amount
of restoration work and expense. The bulk of the repairs are now complete and the project
can now proceed.
